How your information is used.
Your enquiries
EduDistance is responsible for the information collected through the form: name, email address, enquiry category, subject and message. This information is used to answer your enquiry and, if requested, explore a pathway or cooperation. The requested fields are needed to handle your message.
Depending on your enquiry, processing is based on the pre-contractual steps you request or EduDistance’s legitimate interest in responding to incoming enquiries. Messages are not used for marketing without separate agreement.
Transmission and retention
The form sends your enquiry over HTTPS to Web3Forms, operated by Web3Creative, which relays it to EduDistance’s mailbox. The mailbox.org email service is provided by Heinlein Hosting GmbH in Germany. Messages are accessible to those handling your enquiry at EduDistance; their contents are not shared with a partner institution without informing you.
Web3Forms states that submissions may be retained for up to three years, unless deleted earlier or a shorter period applies to the plan used. EduDistance retains enquiries that do not proceed for a maximum of 12 months after the last exchange, then deletes them. If a pathway or partnership proceeds, relevant information is retained under the rules for that file, which are provided separately.
Hosting and message delivery involve international service providers. Their operation may involve processing outside the European Economic Area; the relay is not represented as operating exclusively within Europe.
Your rights and browsing
To request access, correction, erasure or restriction, or exercise objection and portability rights where applicable, use the contact form. You can also complain to the relevant data protection authority, including the ICO or the CNIL.
EduDistance adds no advertising, audience analytics or non-essential cookies. Spam protection uses an invisible field, input checks, temporary limits on submission attempts and Web3Forms’ filtering. A temporary copy of the form is kept in your browser tab to prevent loss of your text if submission fails; it is removed after submission is confirmed. The host may process technical data needed for access, security and operation. Please do not include sensitive information in this initial enquiry.
